In a critical meeting with district Congress leaders, Rahul Gandhi highlighted the ideological battle against the BJP and RSS, calling them a diminished threat compared to the British Empire. He emphasized Congress's commitment to equality and fairness, differentiating its vision from that of RSS's hierarchical dictatorship.
Gandhi underscored the indispensable role of district unit leaders in strengthening Congress to realize an India where everyone can aspire to greatness. He encouraged expanding membership and capable leadership, painting a picture of two contrasting concepts for the country's future — one from the Congress promoting equality and the other from RSS challenging it.
With support from Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Gandhi called for grassroots mobilization and unity within the party to implement its strong ideology nationwide. This first meeting, the initial step towards reviving Congress at the grassroots level, involved leaders from across 13 states and three union territories.
