During a press interaction, Vadra asserted that the union government consistently avoids discussions by any means necessary, employing various tactics to stifle opposition voices.
Highlighting a troubling trend, Vadra alleged that the current government frequently blocks important discussions in Parliament, particularly when sensitive topics arise. She remarked on tactics like preventing opposition leaders from speaking, calling these actions a grave injustice to the democratic process.
Expressing grave concern, Vadra emphasized that the obstruction of democratic functioning within Parliament is a distressing reality for MPs and observers. Her statements came after participating in the District-Level Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting in Kalpetta, underscoring her commitment to transparent governance.
