Speaking on the Truth Social platform, Trump emphasized that the agreement would fortify the long-standing relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom for many years. He expressed his honor in making the UK the first announcement, with numerous other agreements in negotiation stages.
Earlier, Trump described Thursday as 'a very big and exciting day' for both nations and confirmed that a news conference would be held at 10 ET (1400 GMT) to reveal more details.
