Operation Sindhu: Indian Students Safely Evacuated Amid Iran-Israel Conflict

Indian students studying in Iran, amidst the Iran-Israel conflict, were evacuated and brought safely to India under Operation Sindhu. The initiative was led by the Indian government with cooperation from Armenian and Turkmenistan authorities. Students shared their harrowing experiences from war-torn Iran upon arriving in Delhi.

Amidst the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Indian authorities launched Operation Sindhu to evacuate citizens in distress. This was marked by the safe return of 110 students to India from war-stricken areas.

MBBS student Mir Khalif, alongside others, recounted terrifying memories of missiles and bombings that turned the region into a war zone. The operation, involving cooperation from Armenian and Turkmenistan governments, highlights India's dedication to citizen safety.

External Affairs Minister assured ongoing evacuation efforts, while parents expressed gratitude and concern for those still stranded. The evacuation has been hailed as a significant step towards ensuring the safety and welfare of Indians abroad.
