OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently spoke with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella about future collaborations between their companies, emphasizing ongoing partnership dynamics, as revealed in a New York Times podcast.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft, a key supporter of the AI startup, is renegotiating its investment terms and considering pausing discussions over unresolved key issues, including future equity stakes.
Despite these tensions, Altman acknowledged the overall positive collaboration. Meanwhile, he discussed AI technology with U.S. President Donald Trump, commending his understanding and announcing his Stargate initiative, a major private investment boosting AI infrastructure.
