Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Mahendra Bhatt has been re-elected as the president of the Uttarakhand BJP, marking his second consecutive term. Bhatt expressed his gratitude towards the central leadership of the BJP and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for their support in his re-election.
In a statement to ANI, Bhatt underlined the party's strategic focus on securing victories in the forthcoming Panchayat and State Assembly elections. His leadership in the state BJP began on July 30, 2022, and continues with an emphasis on electoral success.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, meanwhile, virtually participated in a religious gathering organized by the Jagdish Swaroop Vidyanand Ashram Trust in Haridwar. Observing the event, CM Dhami remarked on the spiritual significance of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, advocating it as a source of inner peace and guidance in a materialistic world.
