PVN Madhav has officially assumed the role of the Andhra Pradesh unit president for the Bharatiya Janata Party, succeeding D Purandeswari. The transition, announced by Bengaluru MP PC Mohan, was considered a formality, as Madhav was the only candidate.
Known for his deep-rooted ties with the BJP since childhood, Madhav's active political career began in 2003 when he joined the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, where he held various positions until 2013. His journey included an MLC election representing Andhra Pradesh's graduates.
In his address, Madhav expressed pride in assuming leadership during the RSS centenary and committed to enhancing the BJP's influence in the state, aiming to double their seats. Congratulatory notes from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of collaboration within the NDA alliance for Andhra Pradesh's development.
