Union minister J P Nadda clarified the absence of key leaders from a crucial Business Advisory Committee meeting, following Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's sudden resignation.

Nadda, alongside Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, was unable to attend the meeting. The Vice President's office was notified, dismissing allegations from Congress leader Jairam Ramesh regarding their absence.

Ramesh suggested deeper reasons for Dhankhar's resignation, which was attributed to health concerns, speculating it was provoked by the ministers' non-attendance at the meeting.
