Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, addressing Parliament on Monday, criticized the Opposition for diverting focus from national security with minor concerns. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing significant national issues, especially concerning defense and security, over less consequential matters during discussions.

Singh questioned the Opposition's tendency to focus on Indian aircraft losses while ignoring enemy casualties. He insisted that such inquiries do not align with national sentiments and urged for accountability towards the destruction on the opposite side. Singh reinforced that the ruling party’s duty includes safeguarding citizen interests while the opposition is meant to question government actions.

The minister highlighted Operation Sindoor's success in dismantling Pakistani terrorist installations and punishing those responsible for the Pahalgam attack. He reassured that Indian soldiers remained unharmed and praised the operation as a testament to India's firm stance against terrorism, honoring the soldiers' sacrifices.
