Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar commended Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for providing a comprehensive update on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha on Monday, outlining the military's adept response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack. Majumdar acknowledged that while not all details could be disclosed, the Defence Minister delivered a substantive report to the nation.

In his address to ANI, Majumdar highlighted Rajnath Singh's initiation of the discussion, noting the constraints on detailing pure facts in sensitive operations. Nevertheless, Singh presented an 'audit report' of the armed forces' actions, which instilled national pride. He emphasized that the operation is paused, not concluded, warning of strong reprisals against any future provocations by Pakistan.

Rajnath Singh reiterated the Prime Minister's stance, emphasizing that the operation's pause indicates preparedness to respond to any future threats similarly. Singh noted success in neutralizing attacks without significant damage to military assets. The operation notably targeted nine terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan, eliminating over 100 terrorists, trainers, and handlers in precision strikes, thwarting Pakistan's electronic warfare and ensuring robust security throughout.
