YSRCP leader Talari Rangaiah launched a scathing attack on the TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, accusing them of damaging the state's industrial reputation. He alleged that demands for contracts and commissions from industrialists, including a prominent automobile manufacturer, threaten the region's economic stability.
Rangaiah claimed the government's actions are causing potential factory closures and driving industries away from Andhra Pradesh. He stated that the coalition government under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is engaged in extortion, mismanagement, and resource plundering, undermining the state's prosperity.
The former MP also criticized the manipulation of welfare schemes, asserting that benefits are skewed towards party loyalists and resulting in job losses instead of promised job creation. He compared it to the previous YSRCP regime, which he said delivered transparent welfare through direct benefit transfers.
