Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has accused the Congress party of orchestrating a conspiracy in the Malegaon blast case to frame RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Speaking at a press conference, Sarma termed the investigation a 'political witch hunt' led by former home minister P Chidambaram, aiming to tarnish the image of the RSS.

The recent acquittal of all seven accused, including notable figures like Pragya Singh Thakur, has intensified political discourse, with Sarma demanding that Chidambaram be questioned regarding his actions to purportedly 'frame Hindu society with terror.'
