Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, has been requested by the Election Commission to submit a voter ID card for investigation purposes.
Yadav claimed possession of the card despite it being unofficial, and demonstrated an online search revealing his name missing from the latest electoral rolls.
After refutation from responsible authorities, Yadav alleged that his voter ID card number had been altered, prompting an official request for him to hand over the original card for further scrutiny.
