Delhi Assembly Pays Heartfelt Tributes

The Delhi Assembly began its Monsoon session on a solemn note, offering tributes to the victims of three recent tragedies. Legislators paid their respects to those who perished in the Pahalgam terror attack, the Air India crash, and the Bengaluru stampede.
Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta led the tributes, also honoring the memory of former Congress MLA Jai Kishan and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who recently passed away. The assembly observed a poignant two-minute silence in recognition of their contributions and the lives lost.
The tragedies claimed numerous lives, including 26 in Pahalgam, 270 in the Air India disaster, and 11 in the Bengaluru stampede. The session set a reflective tone as members paid homage to ensure that these losses are not forgotten.
