In a fiery speech at the Vote Adhikar Rally on Friday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of conspiring with the BJP to steal the Lok Sabha elections from the people. Gandhi alleged that such collusion undermines the democratic process.
Gandhi strongly criticized the Election Commission for demanding that he file an affidavit under oath to substantiate his allegations. He remarked, 'The EC asks me to file an affidavit and give information under oath. I have taken oath inside the Parliament holding the Constitution.'
This public confrontation suggests increasing tensions between Congress and the ruling party, further fueled by accusations of electoral malpractice and threats to democratic integrity.
