The visit follows Li's recent delegation leadership to Canada from August 24 to 27, marking continuous efforts in international trade discussions, according to ministry spokesperson He Yongqian at a news conference.
A U.S. government spokesperson earlier stated that Li's visit to Washington is not being regarded as part of a formal negotiating process, emphasizing its significance in ongoing bilateral economic dialogues.
