Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to launch projects worth over Rs 1,100 crore in the election-focused Nuapada district on Monday, according to state officials.
Majhi will likely unveil these projects during a public gathering, prompted by the recent passing of sitting MLA Rajendra Dholakia. The Chief Minister's Office announced on social media that Majhi plans to disclose 957 new projects, lay foundation stones, and inaugurate developments that could impact multiple community sectors.
The Election Commission is anticipated to announce the bypoll schedule in the afternoon, during a press conference in New Delhi. Majhi believes these projects will contribute to progress in agriculture, education, health, and rural development, while boosting connectivity and local job creation. Meanwhile, political maneuvering continues, as opposition leaders gather in Nuapada.
