Dr S Ramadoss, the founder of PMK, has been admitted to a private hospital for cardiac evaluation, the party confirmed Monday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin visited the hospital to extend his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Chief Minister Stalin, accompanied by Cabinet members K N Nehru and E V Velu, showed support for Dr Ramadoss, emphasizing hoped-for quick recuperation and a return to his duties. The hospital reported the 86-year-old leader's condition as stable, expecting discharge post-evaluation.
In a noteworthy development, Dr Anbumani Ramadoss visited his father amidst their ongoing power struggle. The visit marks a significant gesture, reflecting the complexities of their strained relationship. Party members' previous efforts at reconcilation had faltered, but the PMK stated that Dr Anbumani continues to hold the party presidency.
