In a dramatic turn of events, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a fierce critique against the Mahagathbandhan alliance following the arrest of RJD candidate Satendra Sah, accused of dacoity. This development was further compounded by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's (JMM) abrupt withdrawal from the Bihar elections.

Maurya, in a statement to reporters, expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) victory in the upcoming Bihar elections. "In 2025, the people of Bihar want the NDA to win," he declared. The BJP leader's comments come in the wake of JMM's allegations of political deceit by the leading Bihar alliance, particularly targeting the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress.

JMM's decision to pull out follows accusations of manipulation and political cunning, as articulated by Jharkhand Minister Sudivya Kumar. He cited a collapsed seat-sharing agreement as the breaking point. The NDA, comprising the BJP, JD(U), LJP (Ram Vilas), HAM(S), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, stands poised to contest against a fragmented Mahagathbandhan coalition in the November polls.
