Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader, Samrat Chaudhry, launched an attack on RJD's Tejashwi Yadav following a flurry of pledges Yadav made for Jeevika Didis and Bihar's contractual workers. Chaudhry accused Yadav's family of looting Bihar during their 15-year rule and criticized them for selling dreams without delivering real progress.

Tejashwi Yadav, who is the Leader of Opposition in Bihar, outlined his electoral agenda, declaring that upon Mahagathbandhan's victory, Jeevika Didis—community mobilisers—will be granted government employment status with a salary increase to Rs 30,000 per month. He condemned the "double-engine government" for offering Rs 10,000 under the Mai Bahin Maan Yojana, denouncing it as a bribe.

In anticipation of the 2025 Bihar Elections, set for November, Yadav promised to waive interest on Jeevika Didis' loans for two years, provide an extra allowance, and offer insurance up to Rs 5 lakh. He further detailed Mahagathbandhan's plans to challenge the NDA, as discontent towards the current administration grows over issues like corruption and crime.
