BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi on Wednesday criticized RJD's Tejashwi Yadav for his statements on job creation and women's welfare in Bihar. Trivedi accused Yadav of misleading the public with his promises of creating 10 lakh jobs, suggesting these were empty assurances aiming to exploit people's hopes.

Trivedi praised the efforts of the NDA government under Nitish Kumar, listing schemes like Har Ghar Sauchalaya and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao as proof of their dedication to women's empowerment. He claimed that the NDA has a pragmatic approach to development, contrasting it with the alleged failures of Lalu Prasad Yadav's era.

In response, Tejashwi Yadav announced enhanced wages for community mobilizers, pledging to make them permanent government employees upon a Mahagathbandhan victory. Yadav also criticized the ruling government for using the Mai Bahin Maan Yojana as what he termed an electoral 'bribe,' promising more supportive measures under his leadership.
