Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent RJD leader, openly criticized the central government, led by the BJP, on Monday for providing insufficient train services to Bihar during the Chhath Puja festival. He accused the government of dishonest claims regarding train operations and exposing migrants to inhumane travel conditions.
In a heartfelt appeal, Yadav addressed those visiting Bihar for Chhath, urging them to stay, enjoy traditional offerings like thekua, and cast their votes in the upcoming elections. He promised a government job for every family if the opposition INDIA bloc gains power, ensuring that migrants can celebrate future festivals within the state.
Highlighting migration issues, Yadav cited parliamentary data showing millions of Bihari migrants. He criticized the NDA for the lack of industrial development in Bihar, accusing them of favoring Gujarat. Union Home Minister Amit Shah's statements on land availability were also condemned, with Yadav vowing that the people of Bihar would not forget such treatment.
