Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the INDIA bloc on Wednesday, taking aim at leaders like RJD's Lalu Prasad and Congress's Sonia Gandhi. He alleged nepotism, suggesting Lalu wants his son as Bihar CM and Sonia envisions Rahul as Prime Minister, calling both positions 'not vacant'.
Speaking to supporters in Darbhanga district, Shah dubbed the Mahagathbandhan as 'thug bandhan', highlighting corruption scandals linked to Lalu and Congress. Shah praised the Centre's crackdown on radical outfit PFI, ensuring its members remain jailed, and questioned whether RJD would uphold such actions if in power.
Showcasing NDA's contributions, he mentioned free ration for 8.52 crore Bihari citizens, the formation of a Makhana Board, and the provision of free electricity. Shah added that Darbhanga would soon see a metro rail, and cultural landmarks like a Goddess Sita temple and the Ram circuit are in development to boost regional heritage.
