Kishore Tiwari Resigns: Protest Against Shiv Sena-MNS Alliance

Farm activist Kishore Tiwari announced his resignation from the Shiv Sena (UBT), opposing a potential alliance between Uddhav Thackeray's party and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

In a statement released Monday, Tiwari accused the MNS of being against Hindi-speaking citizens, religious minorities, and Muslims, key supporters of the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Opposition India bloc.

Tiwari, who resigned on Sunday, noted that the Shiv Sena (UBT)'s electoral victories in the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections relied heavily on votes from these communities, emphasizing his previous warnings against linking with Raj Thackeray's agenda targeting non-Marathi and Muslim residents.
