Yogi Adityanath Leads Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls

The country's Election Commission is conducting this exercise from November 4 to December 4 across various states and territories to ensure voter list accuracy ahead of upcoming elections.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took part in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by filling his enumeration form on Tuesday. The exercise aims to ensure up-to-date voter records across the nation.
A Booth Level Officer visited Gorakhnath Temple where the Chief Minister completed the form and returned it promptly. As a registered voter of Booth No. 223 at Kanya Primary School near Jhulelal Temple, Adityanath is ensuring his details are accurate ahead of future polls.
The Election Commission of India is scheduling this revision from November 4 to December 4. The exercise targets multiple states and territories in preparation for the 2026 elections, notably in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and West Bengal. Assam will have a separate announcement.
