The Kremlin has confirmed that Russian representatives will not partake in the discussions concerning the Ukraine conflict set to occur in Istanbul on Wednesday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed readiness to head to Turkey in a bid to reignite stalled negotiations with Russia. According to Turkish sources, the talks are poised to involve U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov indicated that President Vladimir Putin remains open to dialogue with the United States and Turkey regarding the conclusions of the discussions.
