In the midst of Karnataka's leadership crisis, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his Deputy, DK Shivakumar, held a strategic breakfast meeting to iron out differences. Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara announced his readiness to assume the role of CM, expressing that several people want him in the top position.

Parameshwara, speaking with ANI, emphasized that public aspirations should not be stifled, highlighting the diverse desires for leadership within the party. He pointed out that decisions ultimately rest with the Congress high command in Delhi, who are keenly monitoring the situation.

Following their meeting, Shivakumar planned to meet key Congress leaders in Delhi. Both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar pledged to honor the high command's decision. There's speculation about a 'power-sharing agreement' which fuels the conflict, with Shivakumar pushing for change after 2.5 years.
