In a critical meeting led by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Chief Minister MK Stalin, party MPs examined significant regional concerns, notably the need to revisit metro rail projects in Coimbatore and Madurai. The session, focused on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and MPs' work reports, witnessed deliberations on these pivotal issues.

Emphasizing the necessity for these transportation systems, DMK MP Kanimozhi reported Stalin's call for renewed central government support. Stressing the urgency for central assistance on crucial state schemes, including education and NREGA, Kanimozhi articulated pressing demands during the gathering, voicing frustrations over unmet state necessities resulting from federal delays.

Rajya Sabha MP Tiruchi Siva underscored the 12 resolutions passed, directing MPs to pursue these agendas actively. Highlighting grievances over finance recommendations and educational funding stalls, Siva, alongside leader MK TKS Elangovan, conveyed the party's intent to table these challenges in Parliament, ensuring Tamil Nadu's concerns are addressed by the Union government.
