Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has accused previous Congress administrations of prioritizing a single family while neglecting pivotal figures like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Subhas Chandra Bose. Naidu made these comments while participating in the Sardar @150 Unity March in Gujarat's Vadodara.
The march, celebrating Patel's 150th birth anniversary, began on November 26 in Patel's ancestral village, Karamsad, and will conclude at the Statue of Unity in Narmada district on December 5. Naidu, accompanied by Union ministers and march participants, stressed the importance of unity in a rapidly growing India.
Highlighting the IMF's acknowledgment of India's economic growth, Naidu took a swipe at Congress, particularly referring to an incident involving Rahul Gandhi. He praised PM Narendra Modi for the Statue of Unity, describing it as a symbol of national pride and historical significance.
