In an assertive public rally held in Puducherry, TVK chief and actor-politician Vijay leveled criticism against the DMK regime in neighboring Tamil Nadu, urging them to adopt practices from Puducherry's governance under Chief Minister N Rangasamy.
Vijay, speaking from his custom campaign vehicle, commended the Puducherry administration for ensuring rally security despite political differences, calling it an example for the DMK. He also voiced dissatisfaction with the Centre's neglect of Puducherry's longstanding statehood demand, backed by 16 assembly resolutions for the cause.
The actor-politician emphasized that Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are unified in spirit, and forecasted a learning curve for the DMK following the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, stating confidently that the populace will ensure a change.
