Century of Patriotism: Leaders Visit RSS Founder's Memorial

Leaders including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde visited the memorial of RSS founder K B Hedgewar in Nagpur, marking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's centenary of patriotism. NCP leaders, however, were notably absent from the event.

Maharashtra's political stalwarts, including Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, visited the memorial of RSS founder K B Hedgewar on Sunday. The event emphasized the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's centenary of patriotism, while key NCP leaders were conspicuously absent.

During the visit, Shinde praised current RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat as a 'true patriot' and recognized the organization's century-long dedication to the nation's service. The annual homage, a tradition during the winter session of the Maharashtra legislature in Nagpur, aims to draw inspiration for serving society.

Despite the absence of NCP leaders, attendees like Fadnavis and Shinde reiterated their commitment to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's principles. They lauded Nagpur as both a political hub and the birthplace of the RSS, further cementing its role in promoting unity and national service.
