In a strategic move for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded Pankaj Chaudhary's recent election as the party's state president. The CM anticipates this leadership shift to inject fresh vigor into both the party and the state government's operations.
During a public assembly, Adityanath extended his gratitude to Union Minister Piyush Goyal and former Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey for overseeing the election process. He emphasized the importance of solidifying the party's presence at the grassroots, especially in preparation for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Adityanath drew attention to discrepancies in the voter list following a Special Intensive Revision, noting a stark drop from 15.44 crore to approximately 12 crore voters. Identifying many missing as BJP supporters, he urged corrective measures. Concurrently, he advocated celebrating Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birth centenary on December 25 across the state.
