Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on the second leg of his diplomatic tour, departing Jordan for Ethiopia. The visit to Jordan concluded with a symbolic farewell from Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, showcasing the strong bilateral ties between India and Jordan.
During his first visit to Ethiopia, Modi is set to address a Joint Session of Parliament, where he will discuss India's role as the 'Mother of Democracy' and explore opportunities within the India-Ethiopia partnership to benefit the Global South.
The visit also includes discussions with Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and engagements with the Indian diaspora. As part of his broader diplomatic initiative, Modi will proceed to Oman for the final leg of his tour, building on the cultural and economic agreements made in Jordan.
