The political spotlight turned toward India's economic landscape as Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi Chief, Saurabh Bharadwaj, reacted sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit to the BMW factory in Munich. Bharadwaj argued that Gandhi could have addressed India's economic issues from home, highlighting dropping exports and a falling rupee as signs of economic trouble.
On Wednesday, addressing ANI, Bharadwaj remarked, "I have never been to Germany, but Rahul Gandhi could have spoken about these issues here. Our exports are decreasing, and the Rupee's value is slipping against international currencies, indicating an economic decline." Gandhi's visit was aimed at witnessing Indian engineering marvels, such as the TVS 450 cc motorcycle, partnered with BMW—a moment the Congress party celebrated.
However, the Congress party, via social media, criticized the central government for worsening manufacturing—a crucial economic pillar—emphasizing the need for bolstered production. Gandhi, during his Munich visit, interacted with visitors and declared that India must ramp up its manufacturing output, highlighting manufacturing as a key to national success.
