Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey exuded confidence in a hopeful victory for the united Thackeray brothers' front in the upcoming 2026 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections. In a statement to ANI, Dubey highlighted the strengthened alliance between Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

Dubey put forward that the coalition bolsters the party's prospects, underscoring its dedication to Mumbai's development both now and in the future. Emphasizing the Shiv Sena's enduring service-focused legacy, he contrasted it with the BJP's positioning as Mumbai's so-called rulers.

Furthermore, Dubey criticized the BJP for delays in conducting elections and pressed allegations of electoral malpractices, including issues with indelible ink and voter roll efficiencies. Exit polls have indicated a likely victory for the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance, projecting the Thackeray brothers' coalition as a strong contender.
