The political landscape of the Delhi Assembly is currently embroiled in controversy following the release of a ''doctored'' video. This footage, allegedly showing remarks disrespecting Sikh gurus, has sparked calls for action against one of its distributors, Minister Kapil Mishra.

Chief Whip of AAP, Sanjiv Jha, has filed a formal demand for breach of privilege action against Mishra. Jha's request is supported by a Punjab court ruling that ordered the removal of the misleading video, which supposedly manipulated the image of AAP leader Atishi.

This issue arose during the Winter session after Atishi was accused of making derogatory comments about Sikh Gurus. Assembly Speaker Gupta indicated that a special session might be convened to address the situation, as Atishi has been asked to clarify her position.
