In a dramatic development, Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has raised serious allegations of widespread irregularities in the electoral roll revision process in Ramgarh Assembly constituency, Alwar district.
Gehlot claims 1,383 fake objections were lodged by a BJP election agent in a single day, casting doubts on the integrity of the process. He further accused the electoral administration and the Election Commission of not taking adequate preventive measures, labeling it a 'serious assault on democracy.'
Urging immediate action, Gehlot demanded criminal charges against those involved and called for maintaining the sanctity of the electoral process. The people, he cautioned, will not tolerate democracy's demise.
