V D Satheesan, the Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly, has accused the ruling CPI(M) of emboldening divisive politics similar to those of the RSS. He firmly opposes allegations from CPI(M) leaders of Congress's minority appeasement actions.
Satheesan expressed concerns about remarks made by CPI(M) leaders promoting communal disharmony, particularly referencing Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's support of these divisive statements. He highlighted the potentially dangerous implications for Kerala's societal values.
Despite claims from other community leaders, Satheesan maintained a stance against communalism, asserting that political outcomes would not deter his resolve. He criticized CPI(M)'s alleged connections with Jamaat-e-Islami, pushing back against claims of external influence on UDF governance.
