In a significant political development, K Kavitha, daughter of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is in discussions with election strategist Prashant Kishor to potentially launch a new political party in Telangana, according to sources from Telangana Jagruthi.

Kavitha, who heads the cultural organization Telangana Jagruthi, consulted with Kishor over a five-day period on the feasibility of her new political venture, emphasizing the political landscape of Telangana and related concerns.

Following her 2025 suspension from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and resignation from the Legislative Council, Kavitha has been actively addressing public grievances. She has criticized both the BRS and ruling Congress for corruption, pledging to contest in the next assembly elections and investigate alleged misdeeds since Telangana's inception.
