Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy has been hospitalized after experiencing uneasiness, confirmed a family member. The 80-year-old politician was admitted to a private hospital Sunday night.

According to hospital officials, his condition is stable, and he remains under medical supervision. Last July, the Dum Dum MP was hospitalized due to diabetes-related complications.

Roy has also been treated for chest pain and breathing issues in June. In April, he required a pacemaker after falling ill en route to an event. However, he attended the recent winter session of Parliament despite ongoing health issues.
