TVK chief Vijay was questioned for six hours by the CBI regarding the Karur stampede case, officials reported on Monday.
Previously, Vijay was interrogated for a similar duration at the CBI headquarters on January 12. Although summoned again on January 13, he requested a rescheduling due to the Pongal festival.
The investigation stems from a September 27 stampede in Tamil Nadu's Karur that resulted in 41 fatalities and over 60 injuries, with the CBI assuming control from an SIT after a Supreme Court directive. Ensuring an impartial investigation, the agency scrutinizes multiple parties in this high-stakes inquiry.
