Indian Secular Front (ISF) chief, Naushad Siddique, has levelled serious accusations against the Mamata Banerjee-led government of West Bengal, alleging neglect of minority communities' welfare and a lack of seriousness towards their upliftment. Siddique expressed concerns during the ISF's foundation day event, accusing the state's leadership of targeting minorities.

Speaking about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, Siddique criticized its execution, claiming it victimizes genuine residents, including long-standing minority community members. He alleged that the ruling TMC has been involved in issuing fake SC/ST certificates, failing to ensure rightful entitlements to real Dalits and Adivasis across the state.

Highlighting more challenges, Siddique pointed out that underprivileged Muslims deserve inclusion under OBC benefits, with the ISF aiming to extend advantages to 10% of them. He condemned the controversial treatment of Bengali-speaking migrants and demanded action from authorities to prevent further incidents. Additionally, he called for the repeal of the Waqf (Amendment) Act.
