Sachin Pilot, a prominent leader from the Congress party, has raised serious concerns over alleged politically motivated deletions of voter names during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Speaking to the media in Tonk on Wednesday, he highlighted these irregularities, insisting that the Congress would strongly oppose any form of 'vote theft.'

Pilot underlined that the exercise was being conducted unjustly, despite citizens submitting the necessary Form 7 to protect their voting rights. He emphasized the importance of the Election Commission performing its duties impartially and responsibly, warning of potential protests if the deletions persist.

Furthermore, Pilot criticized the modifications to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), asserting that such changes were being met with widespread opposition. He defended MGNREGA as a crucial safety net for the country's poor population.
