Fernandez, a former minister and ally of President Rodrigo Chaves, has promised to maintain his policies, appointing him to a senior role if elected. The survey, conducted in mid-January with a 3% margin of error, reports opposition candidates like Alvaro Ramos are struggling. With his campaign at 8%, Ramos represents traditional politics, facing criticism from Chaves for resisting reforms deemed necessary by the ruling party.
