The Twenty20 political party, led by Sabu M Jacob of Kitex Garments, has officially joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), advocating for a transformation in Kerala's political landscape. The announcement was made alongside BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar during a press conference.
Chandrasekhar emphasized that the NDA aims to revitalize Kerala's political culture, which he claims has suffered under previous administrations. The inclusion of Twenty20 will be celebrated at an event featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jacob stated that Twenty20 was established to address 'misgovernance and corruption' by the state's leading parties. He underscored the party's commitment to development and highlighted successful welfare initiatives in the regions currently governed by Twenty20.
