The Twenty20 political party, under the leadership of Kitex Garments Managing Director Sabu M Jacob, announced its alignment with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in a bid to transform Kerala's political climate.
Discussions were held with BJP's state president, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, unveiling the news at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram. This formal collaboration is set to be officially declared at a forthcoming event with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jacob, who initiated Twenty20 amidst charges of misgovernance by LDF and UDF, has pioneered social welfare schemes in Ernakulam district panchayats. Emphasizing the necessity of change, Jacob aims to combat political suppression faced by Twenty20.
