Starmer's visit, scheduled from Wednesday to Saturday, will include meetings with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and China's top legislator Zhao Leji, according to Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson at the foreign ministry, during a regular news conference.
The diplomatic visit underscores China's intent to fortify ties with Britain and engage with the broader G7 bloc, highlighting the significance of international collaboration in the current geopolitical climate.
