West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has raised a demand for a Supreme Court-monitored investigation into the death of Ajit Pawar in a recent plane crash. She claims that all other investigative agencies have been entirely compromised.
Emphasizing the need for a credible examination, Banerjee stated that only a probe supervised by the Supreme Court would uncover the truth behind the incident.
Pawar, who was the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, died along with four others when their aircraft crashed at Baramati airport. There are indications that he was considering a political move back to Sharad Pawar's NCP faction before his untimely death.
