Shiv Sena's Harshali Chaudhary emerged as the newly elected Mayor of Kalyan Dombivli, Maharashtra, after an unopposed election held at the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) headquarters.
Rahul Damle of the BJP was appointed as the Deputy Mayor. The election proceedings, conducted under the supervision of Mumbai City District Collector Aanchal Goyal, passed without contest amidst significant political presence.
In her speech, Mayor Chaudhary conveyed sincere gratitude to residents and pledged a transparent administration focused on public service. Similar administration changes occurred in Mira Bhayandar and Ulhasnagar, indicating a shift in local governance dynamics in the Thane district.
