Democratic Rights Under Siege: Stalin Condemns Suspension of Opposition MPs

The Chief Minister, also DMK president, made a strong call for the immediate withdrawal of the suspensions. He asserted that MPs should be allowed to discuss significant national concerns, emphasizing the government's duty to provide transparency and accountability in the House.

Stalin's statements came in response to Tuesday's escalated tensions in the Lok Sabha, where the MPs were suspended amid a fiery debate. The controversy revolved around Gandhi's attempts to address issues related to an unpublished memoir of former Army Chief Gen M M Naravane and the 2020 India-China border conflict, sparking uproar.
